Quick Start Guide

WITH ZOOKA YOU CAN:

1. Play music from a Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phone or
audio source that is compatible with A2DP, such as an
iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android Smartphone, PC, or Mac.
2. Use the device as a speaker phone for a Bluetooth®
connected mobile phone.
3. Play music from an auxiliary device connected through a 3.5 mm AUX jack.

 

LED STATUS

Power OFF: LED OFF
Power ON: LED ON (Blue)
Pairing Mode: LED Flashing Blue/Red
Battery charging: LED is flashing Blue.
Battery fully charged: LED is solid Blue.

CHARGING

ZOOKA has a built in rechargeable Li-ion battery. Each
charge supports up to 6-8 hours of use.
You can connect the USB charge cable to an available USB
port (PC/Mac or USB Power Adapter) for charging of Zooka.
When the speaker is charging, the LED indicator will be
flashing blue.
Note: The Bluetooth® speaker can also be used when the
unit is recharging.

 

PAIRING

Ensure the Zooka is fully charged or that the Zooka is
connected to a power source.
1. Press and hold the Power button located on the front of the Zooka 
until the LED turns blue to turn on the device.
2. Press and hold the Pairing button on Zooka until the power
indicator on the front of the Zooka starts to flash red and
blue alternately (Zooka has 3 minutes to connect/pair with
your Bluetooth® device).
3. Activate your Bluetooth´® device to the Searching mode
(new device searching). ‘Zooka’ will appear on your
Bluetooth® device.
4. Select ‘ Zooka’ and enter the password ‘0000’ if necessary.
After successful pairing, the Power indicator on the front of
the Zooka turns blue steadily and a tone will sound to
acknowledge successful paring.
The unit’s default audio input is Bluetooth®. The source will
automatically switch to Aux in mode when a 3.5mm stereo
audio cable inserted, but it will not disconnect from
Bluetooth®. The unit will automatically switch back to
Bluetooth® input when the 3.5mm audio cable is unplugged .


 

CONTROLS:

1. Mic location.
2. Line-in/Aux Jack.
3. Volume Down.
4. Power On/Off Button.
5. Power and Pairing LED indicator.
6. Volume Up.
7. Bluetooth® Pairing, Answer, Reject, Hang up, Play and Pause.
8. Micro USB Jack (for charging).

PLAYING MUSIC

1. Ensure the Zooka is fully charged or that the Zooka is
connected to a power source.
2. Press the power switch located on the top of Zooka to turn
on the device.
3. Turn on your Bluetooth® device and select the connection
‘Zooka’. Once connected the following control functions
can be used :
Volume Up – Press ’+’ on top of Zooka.
Volume Down – Press ’-’ on top of Zooka.
Pause/Play –
Press Bluetooth® (7) pairing button once.
Note: The power LED flashes once only when maximum
volume has been reached.


 

USING THE AUX JACK:

Through this speaker system, you also can listen to music
from any auxiliary device with a 3.5mm headphone socket,
such as a PC or an MP3 player.
Note: When a 3.5mm audio cable is connected, the speaker
system switches to the AUX source automatically.
Plug in the 3.5mm audio cable into the Aux in on the top of
the Zooka.
Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the
3.5mm headphone socket of your device.
Adjust your device volume level to what you prefer and press
play on your device. The volume controls are disabled when operating in analog mode.

SPEAKER PHONE:

Make sure that wireless connection has been set up between
the paired mobile phone and Zooka.When there is an incoming
call, music play will be paused. You can then:
Answer the call – Press the Bluetooth® button of the Zooka.
Reject the call – Press & hold the Bluetooth® on Zooka.
(About 2~3 seconds)
Hang up the call – Press & Hold the Bluetooth® button on
Zooka.
