What is normally a minor beep, or click sounds on iPhone, or iPad becomes a weird harsh crackle sounds when Zooka is connected. This is more common with a refresh, or notification sound (of short duration). Crackle is most harsh when iOS device is not currently playing other audio before short sound plays.

I have this problem too.

Same here... I wonder why there is no reply even when the origional post is nearly 5 months old!

 

My Zooka is brand new, charged for 24 hrs, been using it for about an hour and have this same sharp crackle as well, came to the forum to see if anyone else was experiencing this and sure enough.....
